Deep ocean, brilliant sunshine, continuous beach, dense forest The Maldives attracts numerous tourists to the island every year. The team of HbAS in Singapore has devoted themselves to the design of sirru Fen Fushi (Secret Water Island) hotel in Fairmont, Maldives, to explore a natural and harmonious way of perfect integration with local customs.
Sirru Fen Fushi embodies the tropical mix and match style, and the team of hbasingapore creates a unique local flavor from the inspiration of tropical modernism and barefoot luxury. HbAS combine local crafts and artistic styles to provide unique combination and experience for residents. For furniture and accessories, the HbAS Singapore team draws inspiration from the island's natural art and nature. While walking along the shore, designers found a pile of fishing nets. These beautiful nets were constantly washed by the sea on the beach. In addition, local baskets and woodcarvings made by islanders were also found. The rich local inspiration has resulted in decorative elements throughout the island, such as woven decorative details and carved furniture.
From the moment the guests arrive at the hotel, they are confronted with the natural elements of contemporary style. Blue water beach villa combines hand plastered walls, bleached teak, natural fabrics and Turquoise tones of the Indian Ocean. The design inspiration of the decorative woven headboard comes from the local craft: the drapery falling from the ceiling forms a beautiful background and sets off the carved wooden furniture inspired by the island driftwood. A hammock inspired by the Maldives chair (Joli) swings slightly in the sea breeze. A huge copper bathtub glowed under the lamp, and the copper decoration decorated the room like jewels.
